Introduction and Design
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X can easily be termed as a Snapdragon variant of the Redmi Note 4. While most of the specifications remain, the same, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X comes with 4GB of RAM and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with MIUI 8 on top which is loaded with features like image and video editor, virus scanner, currency converter, etc.
Regarding design and looks, the device features a metal unibody design paired with curved edges. The device also has a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Display and Performance
Similar to the Redmi Note 4, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display that looks bright and reproduces vivid images in both indoor and outdoor environments.
To deliver high-end performance, the device is armed with a Snapdragon 625 SoC which is coupled with 4GB of RAM to ensure users experience lag-free multitasking.
Camera and Storage
The imaging department hasn’t undergone any changes, and the Redmi Note 4X comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera that are supported by a dual-tone LED flash that helps in capturing good images and videos. Thanks to the presence of the dual-tone LED flash low-light images look great. To aid video calls and selfies, the device sports a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with an 85-degree wide-angle lens.
The Redmi Note 4X makes its mark with 64GB of onboard storage that can further be expanded via a microSD card that makes enough space to store all that you want.
Battery and Connectivity
The smartphone is backed by a Li-Ion 4,100 mAh battery that carries enough juice to keep the device functioning throughout the day. As far as connectivity is concerned, there are options like 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and a microUSB 2.0 port.
