Xiaomi announced the release of a plus version of the popular Redmi Note 5, the Redmi 5 Plus. The previous Redmi Note variants have been well received by people globally, owing to their low cost and excellent performance. Xiaomi promises to continue that legacy with the Redmi 5 Plus.
Display and Camera
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1920×1080, which is powered by an Adreno 508 GPU. The primary camera is 16-megapixels with a f/2.0 aperture lens, dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, touch to focus, geo-tagging, facial recognition, HDR and panorama. It can record full HD videos at 30 fps. The secondary camera is 13 megapixels with LED flash and can record full HD videos at 30 fps.
Hardware and Software
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, which is an overclocked version of the popular Snapdragon 625 and is an excellent SoC overall.
