Vivo could soon launch a new Y-series smartphone with a bezel-less 18:9 aspect ratio display very soon. The company’s Y71 and Y71A smartphones have been spotted on the TENAA website, revealing a 5.99-inch display without any notch on the top.
According to the TENAA listings for the Y71 and Y71A variants, the smartphone will sport a 5.99-inch display with 720 x 1440 HD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Going by the images published by TENAA on its website, the Y71 will have a metal unibody design with visible antenna lines on the back. Powering the upcoming budget handset will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage.
In the camera department, Vivo Y71 includes a 13MP primary camera at the back and a 5MP resolution selfie snapper on the front. The battery inside is said to be a 3285mAh unit for physical dimensions, the TENAA listing reveals the Y71 measures 155.87 x 75.74 x 7.8mm and weighs in at 150 grams. In terms of software, the Vivo Y71 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with the company’s FunTouch OS on top.
