Display and Design
The Samsung galaxy smartphone features a 5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1280X720 pixels and is combined with good viewing angles that display vivid and sharp. Similar to the J2 (2016), the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro sports a Smart Glow notification light around the rear camera lens. Users can colour-code any contact, app, or phone usage alert using the Smart Glow LED-notification system.
Platform and Memory
The J2 Pro runs the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor that is coupled with 2GB of RAM to enable smooth and lag-free smartphone experience. The device has an internal storage space of 16GB for storing default apps and data that is expandable to 128GB using the microSD card slot.
Camera and Battery
The phone is backed by a 2,600mAh battery that lasts 11-12 hours. The J2 Pro’s rear camera is 8-megapixels with an f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, both of which is expected to help you out in low light conditions, while for selfies and video calling, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper.
Connectivity and other features
The J2 Pro has dual-SIM support along with other standard connectivity options like 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port. The new Smart Glow feature can be activated from the Quick panel and can be utilised for Priority alerts, Usage alerts, and Selfie Assist. It also comes with features like the S-bike mode, and Ultra Data Saving mode.
