The Nokia 8 Sirocco is a flagship smartphone introduced by the Finnish smartphone manufacturer. The device ships with good hardware which is intended to ensure a quality smartphone experience. The device sports a glass body which aids wireless charging and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. On the front, the curved edges are contemplated with thin bezels. Also, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is IP67 certified which makes it water-proof and dust-resistant.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display which is paired with excellent viewing angles and also has great colour reproduction which makes the smartphone ideal for playing games and watching videos. The screen is also protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass.

To help users remain connected, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is bundled with all the standard connectivity options which include 4G, VoLTE support, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. One also gets dual SIM support along with the smartphone.
The device comes with a new Pro Camera mode which was a notable feature of old Nokia Lumia devices. The smartphone comes with dual 12+13-megapixel rear cameras that can capture stunning images. The 12-megapixel shooter is paired with a wide angle lens while the 13-megapixel sensor is paired with a 3M3 telephoto lens. Also, to aid low-light images, there is a dual-tone LED flash. On the front, the handset is coupled with a standard 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.
Performance and Storage
To ensure top-of-the-line performance, the smartphone is armed with an octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset and 6GB of RAM which allows users to multitask and play games without affecting the performance of the smartphone.
For storing data and apps, Nokia has stuffed the smartphone with 128GB of onboard storage space which is fixed and cannot be expanded any further as the handset does not feature an expansion slot.
Battery and Platform
On the software front, the Nokia 8 Sirocco runs the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box and packs a non-removable Li-Ion 3,260mAh battery which is touted to last for an entire day. For heavy users, the battery supports fast charging which ensures that the battery gets refueled in no time. Also, there is support for wireless charging.
