Introduction and Design
Finland-based smartphone owner Nokia has come up with an improved version of the Nokia 6. The smartphone is dubbed as Nokia 6 (2018), and it features few modifications than its predecessor both in terms of hardware and design. The Nokia 6 (2018) flaunts a metal unibody design and sports a full-screen design. Also, the fingerprint sensor on the second generation Nokia 6 has been moved from the front to the back below the camera module. The fingerprint reader is super-responsive, and one has the option of recording multiple fingerprints on the device.
Performance and Battery
The Nokia 6 (2018) is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset which is paired with 4GB of RAM that ensures smooth and a seamless smartphone experience even at the most demanding conditions. Users can enjoy games or work on multiple apps at the same time without affecting the performance of the smartphone.
The Nokia 6 (2018) is fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,000mAh battery which is touted to last for more than a day. Sadly, the Nokia 6 (2018) does not ship with fast charging support.
Camera and Display
One of the major highlights of the Nokia 6 (2018) is that the handset sports a full-screen display which is designed to deliver a unique visual experience. The 5.5-inch Full HD display makes you enjoy games or videos on the big screen. Also, there is Corning’s Gorilla Glass protection, that adds keeps the screen away from scratches.
The smartphone ships with a powerful 16-megapixel rear camera which can be used to capture stills and videos even in the dark. To help you out with dull environments, the device is equipped with a dual-tone LED flash too. On the front, there is the same 8-megapixel front-facing shooter which is apt for selfies or indulging in video calling via apps like Skype, Messenger, etc.
Connectivity and Storage
The Nokia 6 (2018) runs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box and is bundled with an internal storage space of 64GB which can be used to install all the necessary apps. To store data like images, music, videos, etc. you can expand the storage further using a microSD card up to 128GB using the Hybrid SIM slot.
For connectivity, there are options like dual SIM support, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, and a USB 2.0 port.
