Introduction and Display
The LG Q6 Plus is nothing but a separate variant of the LG Q6. Both the devices look identical, and the only difference is that the LG Q6 Plus comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage as opposed to 3GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage on the LG Q6. The smartphone does not feature a fingerprint reader but comes with ultra-thin bezels which deliver a unique visual experience.
In terms of display, the LG Q6 Plus sports the same 5.5-inch 18:9 FHD+ FullVision display which reproduces bright and vibrant colours. The display is ideal for watching videos and gaming. However, Corning Gorilla Glass protection is still absent.
Camera and Platform
The LG Q6 Plus runs the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system out of the box, and for image lovers, there is a 13-meapixel rear shooter which is assisted with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel which is coupled with a 100-degree wide angle lens front-facing camera. You can use the primary camera to record images and videos in dark conditions and the secondary shooter for video calling and selfies.
Performance and Connectivity
Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor and 4GB RAM to ensure smooth and seamless performance. Working on more than two apps at the same time isn’t an issue as the device is designed to handle multitasking.
For connectivity, there are options like 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
Battery and Storage
The LG Q6 Plus is fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,000mAh battery which can last throughout the day. For storing apps, the LG Q6 Plus comes with 64GB of expandable storage space. The 64GB of onboard storage space can be boosted further using a microSD card up to 2TB.
